Hi, I am pregnant with my 5th child. This was very unexpected because I have been battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and was told that I was infertile after about 8 months of chemotherapy. I regret that I didn’t receive this pregnancy with joy. I was angry at first and disillusioned. After the 3rd month I have repented of my ungrateful attitude and really began pressing in to the Lord and gaining peace and understanding.

Recently the Lord directed me to study the genealogy of Jesus Christ. He pointed out Ruth. This brought to mind Ruth’s faith and how it’s impossible to please God without faith.

The Lord showed me the importance of the generations. While I was feeling very selfish that I wanted to do something else with my life other than be a mother, God was giving me this gift to the world through me. I don’t yet know what my son or daughter will be, but God knows. Just as he knew that Ruth would be the great grandmother to King David and a descendant in the generations that our Lord Jesus Christ came through.

I felt very humbled by this thought and wanted to share it with you. Thanks.

To Whom It May Concern:

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you all for your hard work and dedication this website helped me in preparation for the birth of my third child. I had two deliveries prior that were abundant with severe pain, miscommunication, 4 degree tear, epidural failure, and horrific recoveries. This time I went completely natural with an awesome support team. I thank you especially for the “afraid of Labor” pages that helped me prayerfully seek out what was I afraid of and truly ask for God’s divine healing. And as always our savior came through. At the most intense point of pain that I was in he brought a beautiful baby boy into the world through me. Thank you all so much!

Take care, and God Bless
In Christ Service

Dear Jennifer,

I'll keep this short and sweet. The Lord ministered to me very powerfully through your site, which I came across just over a day before I delivered. I had never found such an amazing source of information on pregnancy and childbirth from a Christian perspective. I wish I had found it earlier in my pregnancy, but I thank God I found it at all.

I'm an anxious person by nature, but with a combination of personal prayer, Scripture, prayer support, and the information I had accumulated, not least of all from your site, I went into labor feeling an indescribable peace and joy. Everyone involved in my labor experience - my husband, my mother in law, and all the medical staff - are unbelievers, but I know that God revealed His presence and power through the labor. My husband was astonished at how serene and happy I was. I actually enjoyed every sensation, even the 'pain'! I had never felt such peace and joy; it is on a par with the feelings I had 'the hour I first believed', as the hymn goes.

I thank God so much that He broke through the fear of the unknown (this is my first baby) and more importantly broke through the world's lies and errors which surround every aspect of life, including pregnancy and birth. I am blessed with a beautiful daughter and a wonderful testimony to God's absolute authority and faithfulness. Because of Him, the labor was healthy, brief and painless (apart from the human interference of an episiotomy - never again, Lord!) I loved seeing everyone so baffled by God's grace and the mystery of His ways. May God bless you as you continue to share His truth and wisdom in a dark world. All credit goes to Him, all glory is His. Thank you for the part you played in my fantastic spiritual experience, and thank you for allowing me to share this with you.

In Christ,
Mrs Alison Hennessey

I just wanted to say thanks, I never thought that by asking for forgiveness, for my prev, ST, it would actually help me to relax. - Anon

I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for your wonderful website. I delivered my 3rd baby earlier this month with no pain, and I really believe your website prepared me and taught me how. My son was posterior and my doctor kept insisting that I must be in agony, especially when I stalled out at 6 cm and had to blow (because I felt the urge to push) through 3 hours of contractions. I was exhausted, frustrated and cranky, but in no pain. Even through all the pressure, the urge to push did not become intolerable until I was full dilated. I just kept praying for strength and received every time I asked.

Thank you again for posting and maintaining your site. I believe that, had I not been equipped by your ministry, I may very well have chosen an epidural and c-section. God bless you.

Hello,

I bumped into your site through a Google search. I just want to say that I love it. I have found so much information on just one site. And it's Godly information. I thank God for creating this site. I have found it so beneficial. I will also be buying 2 books recommended on the site. I love the devotionals and the suggestions you guys give. I absolutely love the page and everything that is in it.

We are 5 1/2 months pregnant with our first baby, it's a boy! And we are preparing ourselves for labor in any way possible. I want to know everything I can to be prepared. So, we'll see how it goes. With God at my side anything is possible. Even a great labor!

Consumed by His Love,
Bernardo, Anna, & Baby Joshua

Thank you for your site. I hit it three years ago before the birth of my last son. I find myself very unexpectedly pregnant again with #5. I'm confused. I thought I was done. I'm concerned because I don't know how my body can handle this. The last pregnancy landed me with a thyroid problem and post-partum depression. Finances are stretched to say the least, as is space. But, ya know, Christ died on the cross and rose again to bring us life, and life abundantly. This is how He's bringing more life into this wretched world. I KNOW He has a great plan for the life that is now growing in me. He has chosen not just me, but this family to raise up another warrior for His battles... Another voice to spread the Good News.

I don't know why He is so faithful to me. But I am thankful because He is in control and can see the end when I cannot.

Happy Easter.
Kristin
